LA Fashion Week Fave: Petro Zilia
Though LA Fashion is probably the least renowned of the lot, there are quite a few great designer how choose to show their designs in the weeklong event sponsored by Mercedes Benz. One of my faves was Petro Zilia, a brand loved by celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. Designer Nony Tochterman has infused her quirky aesthetic into an utterly wearable and fun collection. Many of the lines pieces harken back to the 70s where miniskirted, tiered, one-shouldered sassiness ruled the day. Tochterman's impeccable eye for color also distinguishes her work from lesser designers. Each of her frocks are the perfect electric shade; perfect for the trolling the streets of sunny California.

Sponsored Post: Trusted Tours
Growing up in a small town in Oklahoma, I have always been attracted to the bright lights of the big city. When I was younger, I dreamed of leaving my quiet suburban town and heading off to New Orleans. I always dreamed of spending my days and nights in "The Big Easy." I dreamed that I would spend my time shopping on Bourbon Street and getting to know the locals. Once I discovered that I probably wasn't ever going fulfill my fantasies, I still longed to live in New Orleans; in the heart of the city where there's always something to do.

Though I probably won't ever be able to live there (the cost of living is beyond ridiculous), I would certainly love to be able to explore the city with experienced guides. I've heard that the city has been thriving since Hurricane Katrina, and seeing the progress that has been in made in a few short years would be beyond heartening.

If I had even a spare moment to take a vacation, I would not hesitate to sign up for a French Quarter walking tour by Trusted Tours. Their two and a half hour tour will take you through the historic heart of the city, and it only costs $22 dollars. Or if you're looking for something a bit more romantic. I'd suggest taking dinner and jazz cruise; where for $54 you and a loved one can sail down the Mississippi, or choose from any other of the numerous New Orleans tours. You're bound to have a good time.

Don't miss out on New Orleans Tours.

The Miller Sisters Cover Nylon
I'll admit that when I first heard the Sienna Miller was planning to join the ranks of the countless celebrities with clothing lines, I couldn't have rolled my eyes quicker. But after I found out that Twenty8Twelve was to be designed principally by Savannah Miller, who graduated from design school, and I saw the line my opinion of the fledgling collection soon changed. I'm particularly drawn to the decidedly masculine shapes and silhouettes.

So I was slightly enthused to see the sisters Miller on the cover of this month's Nylon looking as edgy and nonchalant as ever. This is why I love Nylon's covers so much. This could be a shot by the sartorialist; it's so relaxed.

Introducing Angel Jackson
Katie and Millie Smith are two British born designers with big dreams. They once dreamed of naming their children Angel and Jackson, and creating a chic line of handbags for the contemporary woman. And when they were convinced by friends not to do the former, they bestowed their unused baby names upon their burgeoning collection.

Each of their bags, which have been featured in Vogue, Elle, Nylon, and Instyle, possess a sassy, vintage charm. For a fun neutral carryall I suggest the Mercer; grab a Chandra clutch to instantly glamorize any outfit, or give 'em something fierce and out with one of the new jaguar bags.
