Honey, You're Just Paid to Pose
Uber hot supermodel, Giselle Bundchen, has unfortunately decided to weigh in on the anorexia debate. The former flame of Leo Dicaprio (wow, how'd she screw that one up?) is blaming parents for the rise of eating disorders.

I never suffered from this problem (anorexia) because I had a very strong family base. Parents are responsible, not the fashion industry,"
Someone wasn't doing their job when they let Giselle open her mouth and spew this foolishness. It has been proven that the fashion industry perpetuates unachievable standards of beauty. Not to say that rail thin models are inherently evil, but the fact of the matter is that the general population is affected by these images. We salute any attempt to dispel these myths like Dove's campaign for real beauty. I'm sure you've seen this commercial before, but it wouldn't hurt to post it again.

I totally agree with you. She is acting as if the fashion industry doesn't portray and unachievable goal of beauty. Many girls look at magazines and want to look perfect like their airbrushed counter parts. I am happy that they are noticing the problem and taking some steps to fix it, no matter how big or small they are. Everything helps.
