Kara Janx beats the Project Runway curse
What is it up with Project Runway? I adore the show, and its filled talented designers, yet the winners often fall flat. The purpose of the show is to find a new Monique Lhullier or Michael Kors but the show has yet to produce even a Kathie Lee Gifford. However, occasionally PR (as the cool kids call it) produces a legitimate commodity. I love the casual and chic styles in the latest collection from Project Runway alum Kara Janx.

Attack of the 5" Heels!
We've been seeing the killer high heel being sported a lot lately by trendsetters like Gwen Stefani, Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Lopez, and personally, I can't get enough. You know what they say: the higher the heel the closer to God.

During my most recent visit to the fabulous net-a-porter site I came across these 5" stunners from Miu Miu though technically the heel is 130 mm. There perfect for a night of clubbing (with very little dancing, 5" must be murder on feet), now if only I could scrounge up the $540 to purchase them...
